Through the user-friendly CityBugs app, citizens can take a picture of any city issue, add a small description, and upload it to a live map where it is visible to anyone else using the platform. Users can also comment, up vote priority status, discuss solutions, and track progress for any other issues posted on the platform.
CityBugs also provides the government with a multifunctional administrative panel where they can visualize real-time, categorized data on city issues, as well as update the public on their progress.
The Business Value:
Constant monitoring for issues within a city is time consuming and expensive, and when issues go unsolved, they can cause costly accidents. Citybugs reduces these costs through providing a quick and easy way for citizens to report issues and for governments to solve them.
The Social Value:
CityBugs serves as a bridge between the government and citizens- making government processes more transparent while also building a community of conscious, active citizens.
